I've been spinning the last couple Saturday nights at The Walnut Room and shits been bananas! Besides the few dumb requests the majority of the people came out to drink, party and just old fashion wild out. Looking forward to being back in the spot soon.

Interview w/ Cormega discussing fresh kicks!
Here's an interview that I conducted a while back with Cormega for our radio show "The Formula" with my co-hosts Fredy Blast and DJ Primetime. Cormega discusses the music biz, beefs, and my favorite topic of them all, fresh kicks! He really breaks down what a real sneaker collector is!

Eddie Bo (1930-2009)
More and more of the greats keep passing away.
Singer-pianist Edwin Joseph Bocage, known to fans and those in the New Orleans music industry simply as Eddie Bo, died Wednesday of a heart attack. He was 79. Bocage's death was confirmed yesterday by his close friend and booking agent, Karen Hamilton.
Hamilton said Bocage had a "sudden, massive heart attack" while out of town Wednesday.

Hot Peas and Butta art
Alot of people have been asking how they can get a poster flyer for the Hot Peas and Butta party and I always tell them the same thing, you gotta grab one at the party or catch one posted up somewhere. Well last week in New York my man, Lancealot who designs all of the Hot Peas Flyers did a 1 of 1 large framed 1/2 sheet movie sized poster for a gallery exhibit that he was involved with. The poster was up for sale and of course its been sold. Lance always puts in mad work when designing these flyers to give it a true blaxploitation feel.
