Classic Timberland 3-Eye Rework

The Timberland 3 Eye has always been one of my favorite kicks since the 80's, looking fresh with everything from Khakis to Jeans and even the 90s fatigues era look.  Maiden Noir has teamed up with Timberland to rework the classic shoe which looks really great from the usual all leather now done up with suede additions.  Definitely need this in the rotation with the Wallabees.

Adrian Younge x Ghostface

Now this should be an interesting collabo that I'm excited to check out.  Adrian Younge x Ghostface x RZA, oh yeah I can get with that.  I know Adrian is gonna come with that sound that compliments Ghostface oh so well, plus he understands and has that uniqueness that in his production style and sound that will make this a dream match up.  Add Ghostface vocals and a little RZA influence and it's on.  Plus their dropping a comic book?  Yeah Shouts to the homie Adrian Younge for this one!

Keepin It A Product of New York

If you were a kid of the 70's then most likely you've owned a pair of PONY sneakers, everyone from Basketball players to Muhammad Ali to young urban youth was seen wearing them.  In my opinion they never got the same respect as say the PUMA Clyde but still and overall nostalgic kick that I remember like it was yesterday.

Wally The Crocodile

There's nothing like a classic pair of Clark Wallabees, they've always been fresh to def and now it looks like they've collaborated with Supreme to release a Cognac colored Crocodile version.  I'm on it!

Kodoja: Terror Mountain Showdown Video

A few months back Big Pimp Jones in collaboration with Hot Peas & Butta released their 45 and CD album Kodoja: Terror Mountain Showdown which was their tribute to classic Japanese Kaiju cinema.  On the heels of that project came the comic book drawn by artist Rory Smith which issue #1 of 5 is presently available for sale.  Recently finished up is the video for the first track off the album, Kodoja: Terror Mountain Showdown

HPB x IBE Gallery Exhibit

This weekend The Elroy Jenkins and myself will be out in Holland (Heerlen to be exact) for the IBE Hip Hop Festival.  As always I'll be doing my thing on the decks all weekend long but we also have something else going on really special, Elroy Jenkins has once again curated a Hot Peas & Butta collective art showing with a few of his favorite artists (including himself) and from around the globe.  The lineup of works will be shown by Jani Tolin FM (Finland), Serval 7$ (Switzerland), Kid Ka$h 7$ (Switzerland) and Manny Fernandez. 

45 Euro Excursions

It's almost that time for me to be making the trip to Europe once again for a few dates to drop some 45 gems.  First up will be the Real Funk in Zurich Switzerland with DJ's Spruzzi and Funky Gramigna, the following night I head over to Lausanne Switzerland which is oh so familiar with the Hot Peas & Butta brand since we've already thrown several amazing parties there already.  I'll be spinning tunes with DJ CTB who you can actually label as the HP&B resident of Lausanne.  To round out the festivities I'll be bouncing over to St. Petersburg Russia to rock with Mr. Chak and his Fun City Shingaling party.  I've been wanting to do this party for sometime now, it's definitely the place to be if you've got that Funk, Soul, Latin, DiscoRap goodness.
