Philly To Portland!
All I gotta say is...Cop this new 45 from my Portland peoples Ragen Fykes and Ohmega Watts that was just released on my fellow 215er, Junior on his label Record Breakin. Ragen is a really dope singer and you should already know the deal with Ohmega when it comes to the beats!

Cap that ass!
Definitely something different for a bachelor spot.
Inspired by the small, seemingly inconsequential things in life, designer Sander van Heukelom looked to something as small and trivial as spray can caps as the inspiration behind a line of chairs. Designed for his solo exhibition in Amsterdam titled “The Artistry of the Cap”, the two-piece collection includes the “New York Fat Cap Chair” and the “Hooded Fat Cap Chair”.

Back from Seattle
Ok, so Im finally getting around to updating after last weekends trip to Seattle. I'll make it a quick one since Im on the go and have a couple articles that Im writing for a magazine and a blog and deadlines have come and almost gone!
Seattle was dope as usual, fresh air and the weather was perfect. My man Dialog brought me out to rock his annual jam 360 which is always dope, got to link up with a bunch of poeple that I havent seen in a year so thats always a plus. Before the jam though I linke up with my homey Ohmega Watts who told me about a crazy record shop that his friend runs so you know I had to check it out! All Im going to say is it was bananas, crazy large warehouse plus the basement every genre, 12"s 45's and more. I only had a few hours to spend there and bought some good shit for good prices plus the family discount made it even sweeter. But to show you just how sweet it really is, I've already booked a flight back out in a couple of weeks to spend the entire weekend combing the walls for those heavenly gems!
These pics dont do any justice because there were rows, isles and walls full of vinyl. Plus the basement was completely filled.

Hmmm...whats this?
Woke up bright in early this morning after a night spinning at The Walnut Room to route out for a morning of searching for the perfect beat (ie. record shopping). Nothing to spectacular in todays catch, I mainly went looking for some 45's but pulled out a couple LP joints for very cheap. A sealed copy of Afrique Soul Makossa (which I've got a bunch already but none sealed and none that cost $5). You already know the other LP which cost me next to nothing as well.
Tomorrow I'll be hitting the Ya Digg??? Record Show in Philly which I'll be on a panel discussing the state of vinyl, collectors etc. Should be a fun day.

Sweden (Day 3)
Today was pretty much a chill day for me. Did a short lecture on the connection between the DJ and the Bboy which really turned out dope, gave people an indepth look into how the two really work together. Got to chillout at the "Wall of fame" with Wane and Sign while they did their pieces. After a full day of chillin in the sun it was back to freshen up to hit the club. Went to this spot where they happened to be having an afterparty for some Skateboarding event that was going on in Malmoe at the same time so it was mad packed with drunk skate kids. Bumped into Maylay Sparks and had a few drinks then a short stint of being introduced to people and passing out business cards it was back to the hotel around 3am to pack for a 12p flight back to the illadelph.
